"A Touching Realistic Drama Worth Watching"

When was the last time Mollywood saw something so realistic on big screen that we got connected with the characters instantly, finding them as one among us? Madhura Naranga is one such film where the honesty in narration and development of characters will make one revel in and feel along with its characters.

Yes,You heard it right !! The Ordinary team is back in form with a passionate emotional drama based on a true incident, blended with a good share of light-hearted moments, that can cater to all the sections of the audience including families this festival season.

A romantic tale to start with,Madhura Naranga, with the support of a well-written screenplay by Nishad Koya, hearty narration by Sugeeth and good support from all other departments is with no doubt an engaging journey that celebrates true love and friendship.Nishad Koya and Sugeeth can be proud of the fact that they could present an original incident with its heart laid at the right place without going overboard adopting unwanted slapstick humour, double intenders or over-melodrama.

The proposing scene between Jeevan and Thamara, the Srilankan portions and the hilarious conversations between the lead trio were particularly impressive. The climax portions were nail-baiting and well-narrated keeping the viewers hooked to the screens till the end-credits start to appear.Cinematogrpahy by Faisal Ali and editing by V.Saajan were good.

The movie has one of the best soundtracks of 2015 with some really melodious songs and an impressive score by Yuvhh fame Saachin and Sreejith, eventhough the fact remains that atleast a couple of songs could have been trimmed off to increase the pace of the narrative. All the songs were striking with ''Vaazhvom Thaazhvom","Oru Naal Ini Naam" & "Kankankalil being the picks from the album.

Kunchako Boban was pretty impressive as Jeevan and particularly notable during the emotional sequences. This can be counted as his best performance after Fr.Sunny in Vyshak's 'Vishudhan'.Parvathy Ratheesh makes an impressive debut enacting the role of a Srilankan tamil girl 'Thamara' without showing any shades of being a newcomer. Her intriguing eyes, innocent smile & genial dialog delivery[courtesy::Raveena Ravi] will make anyone fall for her on a dime.Biju Menon and Neeraj Madhav were brilliant with their comic timing and also enacted the emotional scenes with required perfection.

Overall,Madhura Naranga is an engaging drama that's worth the money paid for.
